A Recommendation Worth the Drive

If good restaurants and memorable dining experiences are important to you, this is one you should not miss.

And if you are willing to spend a little extra time on transport, this is a very strong recommendation from my side.

The restaurant offers traditional Portuguese cuisine at a high level, but without the stiffness often associated with Michelin dining. The atmosphere is warm, the service is personal, and the overall experience feels genuine rather than formal.

Reservations are recommended, but if you only come across this recommendation while you are already here, it is still worth trying. It is not a place that is always fully booked weeks in advance, and it is sometimes possible to find a table on shorter notice.

A Personal Favourite

This is one of my absolute favourites in the area.

I have celebrated several birthdays here over the years, and the experience has always been the same: excellent service, consistently high quality and a genuine sense of hospitality from the owner and the team.

The wine selection is also worth mentioning, with very reasonable prices considering the level.
